 “Haunted for Habitat” Fall Event at Tubby Tubes in October

Glens Falls, NY, 9/17/2013— Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties is teaming up with Tubby Tubes Company in Lake Luzerne this October on a brand new a family friendly fall festival.

“Haunted for Habitat” will be every Saturday in October from 12 to 8pm and Sundays from 12 to 4pm, with  admission is only $9.  Families and individuals alike will have the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoor slides that Tubby Tubes is known for, as well as participate in lots of fun family friendly fall activities.  A portion of the proceeds are going to Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties latest build, which will be starting in March of 2014.

The highlight of Fall Fest will be the, “Haunted for Habitat” barn, fun and family friendly in the daytime, and in the evening perfect for adults looking for some Halloween fun!  Additional activities include face painting and pumpkin decorating.

“We will be going all out for this, decorations galore, tons of activities and of course free candy for the kids! Habitat for Humanity is a great organization; as a local family business it is important to us that the dollars we raise go to help families in our community,” stated Eric Hamell, owner of Tubby Tubes Company.

“Funds raised thru this event will be used toward the building our 24th home, of which ground will be broken this coming spring.  We have been helping local families since 1991 and we are very blessed to have a great family run business in Tubby Tubes to partner with on “Haunted for Habitat,” said Courtney Shaler Smith, Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity.
