How can I help?
Few things in life are more rewarding than seeing the gratitude expressed by a new homeowner when they are presented with the keys to their new home. The knowledge that you were able to help a family realize a dream, possibly a new beginning, can be tremendously satisfying.
Habitat is founded on its volunteers, and it takes dozens to complete a build. Our affiliate builds on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
In many cases, no formal experience in the trades is necessary, just a desire to help and the ability to cheerfully take direction. For any task you are asked to do, we can provide the needed instruction/safety information.
We are always looking for volunteers with or without construction skills and some time as well.
Crew leaders, greeters, hammer swingers, sandwich makers, all are welcomed!
