A Ground-Breaking and A Floor!

On Saturday April 19, our formal ground-breaking ceremony was followed by a very successful work day on Maria’s house at 46 East Beacon St in Glens Falls.

During the groundbreaking, a blessing was offered for the home, donors and partners were acknowledged and the shovel of dirt ceremony kicked off our 24th  build.  Adam and Brian Sipe were introduced as our construction supervisors for the build.

Thanks to a lot of hard work behind the scenes from our Construction Committee and Board of Directors, work began immediately after the ground-breaking.  31 volunteers contributed 198 hours on Saturday to kick off the project and keep us on schedule.  Window wells were installed.
