July is almost over and so is the sheet-rock install on Maria’s house. This past Saturday, 18 volunteers put in 100.5 hours in at the build.
Since the Fourth of July weekend, our build team has worked very hard July 12th and 19th on wrapping up this heavy task. Now we’re continuing with the finishing in process. On Saturday July 26th an energetic group of volunteers were able to complete installation of the interior doors, painting trim for future installation, and wrapping up all the handrails on both exterior stairs. Great progress was made on the front wall exterior trim and siding, nearly completing our outside work. The house is looking good thanks to the hard working volunteers who are coming out and sweating together this summer.
There will be no work Saturday August 2nd as we enjoy a mid summer break in the action. When we resume August 9th interior painting will be the headliner as well as finishing up a host of loose ends hope to see everyone on the ninth.
