Habitat was once again blessed with a beautiful day to continue work on Chris, Penny and Matt’s new home.
We had a large crew on hand to complete the task of framing all the interior walls and bracing all the walls and completing the sheeting on the exterior of the new home.
The volunteer crew did an excellent job in a timely manner which meant everyone went home early to enjoy the rest of their weekend.
The roof trusses are scheduled to be built this week and delivered on site in time for Saturday.
Lou Gallop of Gallop Concrete has generously offered to set the trusses free of charge with his boom truck this weekend which will make everyones life a lot easier. Thanks Lou!!!
A big shout out goes to this weeks vendors which donated or discounted items; Fierro’s Pizza of Greenfield Center and Wiley Bros. Inc. Lumber of Schaghticoke,Rensselaer county.
Thank you from the Habitat for Humanity of Warren, Washington and Northern Saratoga Counties.
See you Saturday and hopefully we “raise the roof”on our latest build.
